Mission Statement

Welcome to MLKEEPE Publications.  This company was created in 2007 to help perpetuate the rich heritage of classical saxophone repertoire. As a saxophonist I am dedicated to promoting and preserving the very best of classical and contemporary saxophone literature.  My goal is to take a personal approach to these ideals.  While many composers feel that their works get “lost” in larger company’s catalogues, I am intent on making the connection between composers and saxophonists an experience that provides a deeper understanding and awareness of each work to provide a more meaningful connection between performer, the piece and the audience.

Each piece is specifically selected by me to ensure quality compositional techniques and to fill specific needs in our catalogue.  Selected pieces are then listed with audio clips, score samples, program notes, composer information and a list of released recordings.  This will provide a better “feel” and understanding of the work before purchase.  If you enjoy a particular composer’s works I encourage you to use the composer’s contact information and commission further pieces.  I hope to make it easy for performers to have access to any information necessary to make an educated purchase and to help prepare the piece for performance.
